Beginning at 12:00 AM on March 14th, the Delhi Passenger Reservation System (PRS) will be temporarily closed for a planned maintenance window, affecting ticket booking and related services for two consecutive nights.
During this crucial period, passengers will be unable to make bookings, cancel tickets, or inquire about PNR status. Moreover, checking current reservations and making online bookings for trains departing from Delhi will also be unavailable.
Indian Railways explains that the maintenance is essential to enhance system efficiency and reduce downtime, aligning with its goal to improve passenger service experience. The shutdown will last approximately three hours, impacting a total of 139 PNR inquiry services, EDR, Delhi PRS, and online ticketing services.
