New Delhi, May 25: Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal is leading a delegation to Canada in seeking to hasten the conclusion of an Indian-Canadian Free Trade Agreement (FTA) by the year-end. Goyal's visit, part of broader negotiations, comes as both nations eye significant economic growth through deepened trade ties.
During his official trip, Goyal and Canadian Minister Maninder Sidhu met with Prime Minister Mark Carney to discuss progress on the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA), which is expected to be a game changer for workers and businesses in both nations.
