Designed to cater to urban commuters and tech-savvy drivers, it boasts a strong design, impressive features, and robust performance.

New Design

The Hyundai Inster EV is built on the global Casper model, offering a bold and modern presence with its round front LED daytime running lights (DRLs) and pixel-graphic turn signals. Its tall stance and skid plates underscore a confident street demeanor despite its micro-SUV classification. The 15- to 17-inch steel alloy wheels add a touch of strength, aiding precise cornering in urban traffic.

Interior Features

Inside the Inster EV, Hyundai has created a space that feels robust and technology-rich. A dual 10.25-inch screen setup includes a digital instrument cluster and a second touchscreen for clarity and functionality. Fold-flat seats offer flexible storage space, transforming the interior into an expansive cargo area. Ventilated seats will ensure comfort during hot commutes, while V2L (Vehicle to Load) technology enables convenient power delivery to external devices.

The Inster EV promises impressive performance with two battery options: a 42 kWh pack delivering about 300 km of range and a 49 kWh long-range version which can achieve 355-370 km. Its electric motor generates 115 PS, providing smooth driving dynamics in both city and highway conditions. Fast charging technology lets it charge from 10% to 80% in as little as 30 minutes.

Launch Details

Hyundai is planning to launch the Inster EV in India by June 2026 with a starting price around ₹12 lakh (ex-showroom). The safety features align with global standards, including six airbags and ADAS technologies like lane-keep assist and blind-spot monitoring.
