The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has finally announced the CBSE Class 10 results for the academic year 2025-2026. Excitement is high among students and their parents as they eagerly await their scores, but there's also a special assessment scheme in place for certain countries affected by regional instability.
During the period from February 17 to February 28, 2026, the Class 10 board examinations were held. However, due to security concerns and political tensions in the Middle East—specifically between Iran, the US, and Israel—it was not feasible to hold the exams as planned. As a result, many students studying in Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) had their results delayed.
To address this issue, the CBSE has now implemented a special assessment scheme for these students based on scores from the already conducted exams. This allows them to access preliminary results and continue with their studies uninterrupted.
For students who have completed all four mandatory subjects (Mathematics, Science, English, and Social Studies), the final result will be determined by their average score across these subjects. For those who have taken fewer than all four exams, their grades will be calculated based on an adjusted system that averages their best-performing three or two exam results in each subject.
The official CBSE website (cbse.gov.in) and DigiLocker portal (digiLocker.gov.in/umang.gov.in) are the primary sources where students can check their preliminary results. Once all necessary assessments are completed, students will receive a final result that accurately represents their academic performance for this crucial year of their secondary education.
