The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is gearing up to release the results for their Class 10 students in 2026. As per reliable sources, the results are anticipated within the next few days. To ensure a smooth and prompt process, DigiLocker has advised students to activate their IDs early.
While the CBSE has not yet announced an official release date, the 'Coming Soon' message is prominently displayed on its website. This indicates that any time now could see the results being posted online.
Key Steps for Result Check
CBSE Class 10 students can follow these steps to check their scores:
- Step 1: Download the DigiLocker app from Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
- Step 2: Visit digiLocker.gov.in and enter your Roll Number, Class, School Code, and six-digit PIN.
- Step 3: Enter the One-Time Password (OTP) sent to your registered mobile number for verification. Upon successful verification, your marksheet will appear on the screen.
- Step 4: Download the scorecard and take a printout for future reference.
A similar process can be followed through the Umang App, focusing on different sections within the education category. However, DigiLocker is the preferred method by most students because of its seamless integration with CBSE processes.
For those without an APAAR ID, creating one at the earliest is recommended to avoid last-minute hassles. Students who have their APAAR ID linked to CBSE will receive their mark sheets in DigiLocker's Issued Documents section.
The results are critical for students aspiring to pursue further education or secure placements. Last year, Trivandrum led with a 99.79% pass percentage, followed closely by Vijayawada at the same rate. This year, all students across the board are eager to see where they stand.
