The Bihar Police Sub-Inspector (SI) recruitment preliminary examination results for the year 2026 have been announced, paving the way for candidates who had applied under Advertisement No. 05/2025 issued by the Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission (BPSSC).

The qualifying prelims were conducted in two shifts on January 18 and January 21 of this year, with a total of 1,036,702 candidates joining the fray. A comprehensive overview indicates that around 7.26 lakh candidates participated in the examination.

The Preliminary Written Examination results have been made available on the BPSSC's official website: bpssc.bihar.gov.in. Each of these 1,036,702 aspirants who are selected for Main Examinations must be prepared to show off their skills and abilities.

Among the disqualified candidates were 29,272 individuals due to reasons such as malicious intent (cases of foul play), incorrect documentation on OMR sheets, and failure to sign. To qualify for Main Examinations under BPSSC SI Recruitment for Year 2026, a candidate needed to score in the range from 130.67 to 98.30 as per various categories including General (Male/EW/SC/BC).
