Hyderabad: As thousands of devotees prepare to gather for the festive prayers on Thursday, the Hyderabad traffic police have outlined precise traffic diversions and parking arrangements to ensure smooth movement around Mir Alam Tank Edgah.
Traffic will be allowed through Bahadurpura X Roads from 7 am to 11.30 am for devotees coming from Puranapul, Kamatipura, and Kishanbagh towards the Edgah and Mir Alam Tank. Vehicles should park at designated places such as Zoo Park Wall and outside Masjid Allah Ho Akbar.
For pilgrims arriving from Shivarampally and Danamma Huts, entry will be through Dannama Huts X Roads during the same period. Drivers are encouraged to park their vehicles in single line parking on road sections like Sufi Cars to Modern Petrol Pump, HMWS&SB, and near Legacy Palace Function Hall.
Effective Traffic Management
The traffic police have ensured that vehicular movement will be strictly controlled. The main routes through Dr. Manmohan Singh Express Flyover to Zoo Park and Aaramgarh will handle general vehicle traffic not heading towards Edgah.
For those coming from Kalapather, Bahadurpura X Roads will serve as a viable route during the prayers, with mass material shop parking available for additional convenience. Special diversions are in place to manage heavy vehicles through Ziyaguda and City College side until the prayers end.
These measures aim to address the inevitable congestion that happens annually but allow for safe and efficient travel while ensuring the smooth flow of prayers at Mir Alam Tank Edgah.
