Weather conditions across the country are intensifying, with thunderstorms and heavy rains expected in regions like West Bengal, leading to the issuance of rain alerts.
The Monsoon Alert for State of Bengal’s roads indicates a heightened sense of disturbance as well as vibrant clouds over these regions. Simultaneously, mild to moderate cold spells have been lifted from many parts of the northern country, clearing up the fog and providing a more pleasant environment.
In state capitals like Delhi, weather has improved significantly; it is now sunny with only occasional morning showers. Yet, several Indian states still face potential downpours, particularly in regions like Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Chhattisgarh, and Himachal Pradesh, along with Odisha which also includes Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
The Meteorological Department has issued advisories on heavy rainfall for 11 states. Additionally, there are concerns rising about rising temperatures in parts of the Northern region of India.
