An air ambulance crashed near Jharkhand's Chatra district shortly after takeoff, leading to the tragic loss of seven lives. The aircraft took off from Ranchi Airport at 7:11 p.m.
The Chatra Deputy Commissioner stated that all individuals on board, who were traveling from Ranchi to Delhi for a medical emergency, perished in the crash. The bodies have been recovered and identified by police, with seven identities confirmed including Captain Vivek Vikas Bhagat, Captain Savrajdeep Singh, Sanjay Kumar, Dr Vikas Kumar Gupta, Sachin Kumar Mishra, Archana Devi, and Dhuru Kumar.
The accident was particularly shocking for local residents as the emergency response team deployed an air ambulance to facilitate post-accident care.
Redbird Airways Private Limited owned the aircraft, part of its fleet which consists of six other planes at that time, including the one involved in this tragedy.
