Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to unveil the 22nd installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme on March 13, 2026. The amount of Rs. 2,000 per farmer per account will be transferred directly into their bank accounts via a remote button.
However, millions of farmers will still not receive this installment, as the government has tightened eligibility criteria to ensure only entitled beneficiaries are rewarded.
