Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu recently announced that the state of Andhra Pradesh will launch the Sanjeevani digital health system on August 15, as part of a comprehensive Universal Health Policy. This initiative aims to enhance healthcare access for the general populace and alleviate their financial burdens associated with medical treatments.

New Features Include Digital Records and Advanced Medical Guidance

The Sanjeevani system will generate and maintain digital health records for citizens, focusing on preventive, predictive, and curative healthcare. Utilizing advanced technology such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools, it will assist in health assessments and provide necessary medical guidance.

Naidu emphasized the importance of integrating technology into healthcare services to improve public health outcomes. By digitizing patient records, doctors can access thorough medical histories for more informed treatment decisions.

Education and Regional Development Initiatives
This news comes alongside broader efforts by the government to bolster educational and regional development initiatives in Andhra Pradesh. The Chief Minister highlighted that national highways will be expanded, with multi-lane roads being developed where necessary. Ensuring road safety remains a top priority, with strict measures in place to address potential hazards.

Water management programs are underway, with satisfactory storage levels across reservoirs despite concerns over rainfall. Irrigation plans have been preemptively implemented, ensuring farmers receive timely water supplies for crop cultivation. Additionally, the Polavaram Project is on schedule to meet goals set before the 2027 Godavari Pushkaralu celebration.

To foster employment growth and reduce youth migration, Naidu announced plans involving green ammonia and hydrogen projects in Kakinada alongside a planned steel project by ArcelorMittal in Anakapalli. These initiatives are expected to provide substantial job opportunities for local communities.
