New Delhi: In response to the cancellation of the NEET-UG exam, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the deadline for submitting bank account details for fee refunds until June 22. The previous deadline had been set for May 27 (11:50 PM), but it has now been postponed by nearly a month.

The NTA made this announcement in an X post, urging candidates who have not yet submitted their bank details to do so to ensure they receive their refunds promptly. According to the latest figures from the NEET-UG 2026 registration portal, as of June 15, more than 13 lakh candidates had already updated their banking information since May 23, when the facility was first opened.

Filling in Bank Details

Candidates must log in using their credentials to access the refund link and submit their bank account details. The NTA also provided an additional method for verifying accounts, allowing candidates to upload a cancelled cheque if they wish. Once the banking information is submitted, it will be treated as final and cannot be modified thereafter.

Note that applicants have until 11:50 PM on June 22 to submit their bank details online or by uploading a cancelled cheque for accuracy purposes.
