This train, which consists of 10 coaches with eight for passengers, is entirely constructed within India using green hydrogen generated through electrolysis at Jind's dedicated plant.
The Train's FeaturesWith a power capacity of 2,400 kilowatts and two driving power cars each capable of 1,200 kilowatts, the train stands out for its robust green credentials. The hydrogen era is set to commence, offering travelers an unparalleled experience without any smoke or pollutants during operation.
The pioneering train will undergo several trials before it becomes a regular service, with the first successful trial run achieving a speed of 85 km/h between Jind and Sonipat. All technical issues are expected to be addressed based on these initial tests.
