Hyundai Venue Price Hike: Petrol and Diesel Models See Significant Increases
Hyundai has significantly increased the prices of certain models of the Hyundai Venue, ranging from ₹5,000 to ₹20,000. The hike affects petrol and diesel variants with top-end HX+5 and HX6T remaining steady.

Highlights
- •Price hiked for select Hyundai Venue models
- •Base model HX2 unchanged in price
- •Top-end Venue models like HX+5 and HX6T unaltered
- •Diesel variants see consistent ₹8,000 hike
Hyundai Motor India has raised the prices of certain models of its popular SUV, the Hyundai Venue, by between ₹5,000 to ₹20,000. This news hits consumers hard as select variants now start at ₹7.99 lakh and go up to ₹15.51 lakh ex-showroom.
The price hikes impact both petrol and diesel variants of the Venue. For instance, the 1.2-liter petrol engine's HX5 trim, a high-end model often chosen for its performance, now has an additional cost of ₹20,000, making it ₹9.55 lakh (approximately ₹9.35 lakh).
New Petrol and Turbo-Petrol Model Prices
The budget-friendly HX2 remains unchanged at ₹8.00 lakh, reassuring price-sensitive luxury buyers. On the high-end market, the prices of top variants such as the HX+5 and HX6T have also stayed steady.
The Turbo-Petrol DCT models, which benefit from a 120 hp engine and advanced drivetrain technology, now see price hikes of ₹9,000 for both the HX5 (₹10.90 lakh) and the HX6 (₹12.16 lakh). The high-end HX8 DCT variant also sees an increase of ₹5,000 to its new price of ₹12.99 lakh.
A notable ray of hope for those preferring a sporty look is that the N-Line variants - the N6 and N10 - remain unaffected by these price changes.
Firm Prices for Diesel Variants
Hyundai's decision to boost diesel variant prices seems driven by strong demand. With prices across most main models increasing consistently by ₹8,000, the Venue's new prices range from ₹9.87 lakh for the HX2 model up to the top model, HX10 AT, at ₹15.51 lakh.
Despite these revisions, the high-end HX10 retains its competitive advantage as a feature-rich luxury model in the compact SUV segment. This price remains stable and offers excellent value for money despite the overall increase.
This move comes under intense competition, with rivals like the Tata Nexon, Maruti Brezza, and Mahindra XUV 300E putting pressure on market prices. Yet, the Venue retains a solid place in the segment thanks to its impressive features, reliable servicing network, and high-quality build.
