According to the Indian Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA), gold prices witnessed a significant hike of ₹971 per 10 grams on Friday, May 29. The surge brings the price of 999-purity gold to ₹157,043 per 10 grams. Concurrently, silver experienced a notable rise of up to ₹3,049 today. As market data collected on Wednesday evening indicated that 999-purity silver was recorded at ₹260,917, the daily jump now places it at ₹263,966.
