The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) has released its 2026 scorecards, marking a significant milestone for candidates who have recently appeared in this entrance examination. To access your individual scorecard, visit the official GATE portal at gate2026.iitg.ac.in.
Steps to Download Your GATE 2026 Scorecard
To download your GATE scorecard, follow these straightforward steps:
Step 1: Go to the official website at gate2026.iitg.ac.in.
Step 2: Click on the 'Available Result' link located on the homepage.
Step 3: Enter your Enrollment ID and password to log in.
Step 4: Once logged in, click on the 'Submit' button.
Your GATE scorecard will appear. Download it as a printout for future reference.
GATE 2026 Score Details and Validity
The scorecard includes essential details such as your marks obtained, GATE score (out of 1000), qualifying marks, All India Rank (AIR), and the overall validity period for the scorecard. It is valid for three years from the date of result declaration. However, starting in January 2027, no new scorecards will be issued to candidates who qualified in GATE 2026.
The download process is free until May 31, and thereafter a fee of ₹500 must be paid for a limited time. It's crucial, therefore, that candidates download and print their scorecards before the stipulated deadline to secure admission to Master's and Doctoral programs in Engineering, technology, or allied fields, as well as opportunities to receive fellowships.
