The first phase of the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) was conducted in December 2025, with lakhs of students participating. Now that the results have been declared and students have passed the entrance examination, they must navigate the subsequent merit-based selection process. The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti oversees several post-result procedures including document verification, medical examinations, completion of admission forms, and school allotment. In addition to releasing a list of selected candidates, the Samiti also provides a waiting list.
